Braxton Marvin Scott Dykstra, age 5, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 1, 2024. Braxton was born March 3, 2019 to Domynic and Paige (Robart) Dykstra of Newaygo.

At this time, memorial donations are welcome to help Domynic and Paige with everyday expenses while they are off work, trying to cope with this unbearable loss. Please make any and all donations directly to Domynic and Paige.

Linda Lee Johnson, age 80 of Fremont, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 at the Corewell Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids.  

Funeral Services were held on Monday, April 15, at the Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel with Pastor Mike Connell of the New Life Fellowship Church in Grant presiding. Interment was in the Peaceful Pines Cemetery in Sheridan Township.

JACK LEE PONTIUS

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Jack Lee Pontius, age 92 of Twin Lake, MI on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the Twin Lake Community Church at 11 a.m. A time of visitation will be held at the church from 10-11 a.m.  

Jack passed away on September 11, 2023 at Corewell Gerber Hospital in Fremont, MI.

Brohman

Alice Bills of Brohman, walked into the arms of her Savior on January 18, 2024, at the age of 96. Alice was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was second only to her devotion to God and his gospel. She was a disciple of his word for as long as she was able. 

A memorial service will be held in the springtime. 

 

CAROLYN SIDERS

Newaygo

Carolyn June Siders, age 97 years, 9 months, 26 days, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, peacefully in her home in Newaygo, MI, surrounded by loved ones. Carolyn was born on June 12, 1926, to Leo and Leah Viola (Horst) Truesdell in Newaygo County, Michigan.

At the request of Carolyn, a private graveside service will be held for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations to Corewell Spectrum Hospice, 750 Fuller Ave.,  Grand Rapids, MI 49503.

Robert Dale Bradley, age 92, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at The Cottages at Martin Lake.  

The Funeral Service was held on Monday morning, April 15, at First Baptist Church of Fremont. Interment was made in Newaygo Cemetery.  Suggested memorial is The Springs Ministries Christian Camp and  Year Round Retreat Center.
